Sarah Harper and Jessie Carter both had five kills, as the top seeded Western Albemarle Volleyball Team advanced to the championship game of the Jefferson District Tournament. The Warriors knocked off fourth seeded William Monroe in three straight games.
Western will battle the number two seeded Fluvanna Flucos, who took care of Monticello in three games as well. The Warriors and Flucos will meet Saturday night at 7:00 at Western Albemarle to decide the Jefferson District Champion. Western is in search of its sixth straight district tournament title.
