Sarah Harper had 13 kills and Laura Wilson dished out 23 assists, as the Western Albemarle Volleyball Team topped Millbrook, 3-1, in the Region II Semifinal. The victory clinches a berth in the state tournament for the Warriors, and they will play for the regional title on Saturday.

Western fell in the first game, 25-20, but stormed back to take game two, 25-12. The Warriors took the next two games to punch their ticket to the regional championship match. It marks the first time in school history that the squad has ever made it to the regional final or the state tournament.

With the win, Western improves to 23-1 on the year, and it will take on Loudon County on Saturday for the Region II title.
