The Cavalier women's basketball team won their home opener against Longwood Saturday night, 62-49. The Cavalier defense held Longwood to only 14 points in the first half. Aisha Mohammad returned from knee surgery and scored 16 points in her first game back as a Cavalier. Enonge Stovall scored 10 points in the victory. The Cavaliers return to action Monday at John Paul Jones Arena when they host 14th ranked George Washington. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
