The Virginia Men's Basketball Team will welcome Syracuse to John Paul Jones Arena on Wednesday night for a non-conference showdown. Tip off is set for 7:30.

The Cavaliers enter with a 6-1 record, and are coming off a 94-52 win over Northwestern in the ACC/ Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday. Virginia's only loss came at the hands of Seton Hall in the finale of the Philly Classic on November 24.

Syracuse comes in at 5-2, and beat Tulane on Saturday, 73-60. This marks the Orange's first ever trip to John Paul Jones Arena, a venue that has not been kind to Virginia's opponents. The Cavaliers hold a 20-1 all time record at the facility, only falling to Stanford on January 8, 2007.
