The Cavalier women's basketball team returned from it's 15 day break with a 83-68 win against Davidson Thursday night. The Cavaliers improved to 7-4 on the season. All five starters scored in double figures. Collectively, they scored 79 points. Monica Wright led all scorers with 18 points, followed by Lyndra Littles with 17 points. Sharnee Zoll scored 16 points and shot 80 percent from outside the arc.
Coach Debbie Ryan was impressed by her team's performance saying, "II thought we were very sharp to start the game and for the most part we sustained a good effort. They got back in the game by making some 3’s, so we need to be better at that for sure.”
The Cavs will have the next six days off for Christmas before they host the Cavalier Class starting December 28th.
