Cavaliers Hold Off Hartford

The Cavalier men's basketball team returned from it's seven day break and defeated Hartford, 78-70. The Cavaliers improve to 10-2 on the season.
Mamadi Diane lead all scorers with 20 points and Adrian Joseph close behind with 15 points. Sean Singletary was suffering from a cold but still managed 12 points.
Three Cavaliers returned from injury in Sunday's game. Tunji Soroye returned after leg surgery. The senior center had not played since the Cavaliers exhibition against Carson-Newman. Soloman Tat played in his first game of the season, and Ryan Pettinella returned after a three-game layoff.
The Cavaliers return to action against Xavier on January 1st and open up ACC play against Duke on January 13th.
