The Cavaliers' woes at Cameron Indoor Stadium continued Sunday, as they lost to Duke Saturday, 87-65. Virginia hasn't won in Durham since 1995.
Sean Singletary led the Cavaliers with 18 points, as they struggled to keep pace with Duke's sharp shooting. Duke led by double-figures the entire second half.
Calvin Bakers added 13 points in his first start as a Cavalier. Mamadi Diane pitched in 11 points, and Jamil Tucker and Ryan Pettinella each had 9.
The Cavaliers lost their ACC opener for the 12th time in the past 13 seasons, and also snapped a four-game winning streak against teams ranked in the AP poll.
Virginia returns to Charlottesville to host Virginia Tech on Wednesday.
