The Cavalier Men's Basketball Team travels to Florida State tomorrow, and after snapping a three game losing streak on Saturday, aims to start a streak of the other kind. However, Tallahassee has not been the friendliest place to Virginia in recent years.
The Seminoles have topped Virginia nine of the last 15 times these two teams have met in Florida's state capital. This includes the last five meetings, as the Cavaliers aim to snap the five game skid at the Donald Tucker Center. Last season, Virginia snuck by FSU, 73-70, at John Paul Jones Arena.
This is a match up of two teams currently near the bottom of the ACC standings. Florida State is 1-3 in the conference, 12-7 overall, while Virginia enters with a 1-2 conference mark, 11-5 overall. The Seminoles have lost their last three contests, all ACC games, most recently at Wake Forest on Sunday.
The Cavaliers topped Boston College on Saturday, 84-66, snapping a three game losing streak. Tip off for Wednesday's contest in Tallahassee is set for 7:00.
