Women's Basketball Awards Banquet Honors Players

The 22nd Annual Women's Basketball Awards banquet honored Jocelyn Logan-Friend as its Cavalier of the Year, but it was Sharnee Zoll that stole the show with five awards.

Zoll won Rookie of the Year, the Preseason Conditioning Award, Best Player in Practice, Most Assists, and the Alumni Scholarship for the player "who best exemplifies the spirit and dedication that makes Virginia Women's Basketball successful."

Seniors LaTonya Blue and Brandi Teamer, were the Best Offensive Players, while Blue and Logan-Friend won the awards on the defensive side.

Takisha Granberry and Brenna McGuire were Most Improved Players, while Kate Kreager and Logan-Friend got Leadership Awards.
