High school basketball games on both the boys and girls sides that were originally scheduled for last night and were postponed have been postponed again. The action will be made up tomorrow night.
In boys action, Orange will visit Western Albemarle at 6:00. With a win, Orange moves into a first place tie with Charlottesville for first place in the Jefferson District. Monticello will also look to grab a share of first tomorrow, as the Mustangs travel to William Monroe for a 7:30 tip off. In the event of a three way tie, all three teams would be considered co-regular season champs, with Monticello grabbing the top seed in the district tournament based on regular season results. A one game playoff was scheduled to be played in the event of a two way tie, but the Jefferson District quarterfinals are scheduled to begin on Friday.
On the girls side, Western Albemarle and Orange will battle on the Warriors' home floor at 7:30. With both teams holding 10-1 district records, the winner takes home the Jefferson District regular season championship, with the loser finishing second. Charlottesville is 9-3, and has locked up third place.
