Caps Sweep Four Game Series with Lehigh

The Cavalier baseball team swept it's second double-header with Lehigh on Sunday. The Cavs took game one 12-1 in just seven innings. Andrew Carraway took the mound for the Cavs. He last six innings, striking out eight and not walking a single batter. David Adams led the Cavs on offense. He hit two home runs in the first game. The first was a three-run shot over the right field wall. It was part of a six-run second inning.

The Cavs took the second game 6-1. Tyler Cannon went 3-of-4 with two doubles and freshman Dan Grovatt went 2-of-4 with two runs scored and two RBI.

The Cavs swept all four games with Lehigh this weekend. They allowed only four run in those four games. They outscored the Mountain Hawks 27-4.
The Cavs return to action at Davenport Field on Tuesday when they host Coppin State at 4 p.m.
