The Cavalier women's basketball team is coming off another tough loss to another top tier ACC opponent, and looks to bounce back for its final two games. Virginia travels to Boston College on Thursday, before rounding out the regular season schedule at John Paul Jones Arena against Georgia Tech on Sunday.
The Wahoos fell at Duke yesterday, 78-70, but held a nine point lead midway through the second half. They fall to 8-4 in the ACC, but those four losses have all come at the hands of the ACC's big three in North Carolina, Maryland, and Duke. Virginia has fallen in those contests by an average of 8.5 points per game, but have been in each game until late in the second half.
Overall, Virginia is 20-8 on the year, and looks to be a lock for the NCAA Tournament. They'll look to avenge some of their losses at next week's ACC Tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina.
