The Cavalier men's basketball team heads to Charlotte for the ACC Tournament, and enter as the conference's tenth seed. Virginia will tip off against Georgia Tech, who the Cavaliers split the regular season series with.
The Yellow Jackets enter as the ACC's seventh seed, and will take on the Cavaliers for the right to take on Duke in the quarterfinals on Friday. Virginia has put together an above .500 final seven games, finishing the season on a 4-3 run. The Cavaliers are 5-11 in the conference, 15-14 overall. They topped Maryland, 91-76, on Sunday, to put the cap on the regular season. Sean Singletary scored a game high 27 points.
Virginia and Georgia Tech tip off on Thursday at 7:00, but our coverage begins tomorrow, as J.W. Stehle will have reports from Charlotte throughout the day, beginning at 5:00.
