The Cavalier baseball team returns to conference play this weekend, as it welcomes Boston College to Davenport Field for a three game series. The first game of action gets underway Friday evening at 6:00.
Jacob Thompson will take the hill for the Cavaliers. Thompson is coming off the worst start of his career at Duke last Friday, lasting only three innings, and giving up six runs. He will look to rebound against the Eagles tomorrow.
Both teams enter this match up at 2-4 in the ACC. Boston College occupies fifth place in the Atlantic Division, while Virginia is fifth in the Coastal Division. The Eagles took two of three at Clemson this past weekend. The Wahoos have fallen in two of three in each of their first two conference sets.
