Jenny Hauser scored three goals and had an assist, as the fourth ranked Cavalier women's lacrosse team topped James Madison, 11-9. The win improves Virginia's record to 7-2.

The Cavaliers jumped out to a 5-0 lead, snapping their streak of six straight games of giving up the first goal. Virginia held the Dukes at bay for the remainder of the half, heading into the locker room up 7-3.

Virginia rattled off four straight goals to open up the second half, but then had to hold off a six goal rally from James Madison. The Cavaliers were able to fend off the Dukes, though, winning 11-9.

The Wahoos return to action on Saturday, as they travel to fifth ranked Duke for an ACC contest.
