The Cavalier football team is in the midst of its spring workout program, and have a very welcome addition on the roster. Wide receiver Kevin Ogletree is in full pads, and takes the field with his teammates with a clean bill of health.
It was during these same spring workouts in 2007 when the team's lead wide receiver suffered a torn ACL, sidelining him for the entire 2007 season. Now, after nearly 12 months of rehab, Ogletree is back with the Cavaliers, and looks to become a valuable part of their offense once again.
Prior to his injury, Ogletree was the team's leading receiver in every major category. He pulled in 52 receptions for 582 yards, along with four touchdowns, all of which led the Wahoos. He is expected to be big part of the offense in the fall.
The spring program is 15 workout sessions, culminating in the annual spring game on April 12.
