UVa Lacrosse Roundup: Men Top UNC in OT, Women Rout BC

Steve Giannone's goal with 1:01 left in overtime lifted the No. 4 Cavaliers past No. 6 North Carolina, 12-11. The Cavaliers were down by three goals with 3:35 left in regulation, but rallied with four unanswered goals for their third overtime win of the season. Danny Glading led the Cavaliers with four points, while Ben Rubeor scored three goals. The Cavs host Duke on April 12.


The No. 4 Virginia Women topped Boston College at Klockner Stadium, 12-4. With the win, the Cavaliers clinch a bye in the ACC Tournament. Jenny Hauser led Virginia with four goals, while Megan O'Malley and Brittany Kalkstein each scored three.
