After being selected in last week's WNBA Draft, Sharnee Zoll prepares for the next level. The former Cavalier is preparing to head out to Los Angeles to join the Sparks, and will look for a spot on the roster.
While at Virginia, Zoll was one of the most decorated guards in program history. She set a new ACC career assists record with 785 assists, and led Virginia to four postseason appearances, which consisted of two NCAA Tournaments, and two WNITs. Zoll proved to be the backbone of Virginia basketball during her four years in the orange and blue.
Now, Zoll looks ahead to the next level. She was selected 29th overall in last Wednesday's draft, the first pick of the third round. She'll join top overall pick Candace Parker with the Sparks. The former Cavalier hopes to jump right in and contribute.
