All eyes will be on Charlottesville this weekend when it comes to ACC Lacrosse, as the conference men's and women's championships come to the University of Virginia. Action begins Thursday and runs through Sunday.
On the men's side, the tournament begins on Friday evening, and takes place at Klockner Stadium. Top seeded Duke will face fourth seeded North Carolina at 5:00, with Maryland and Virginia following in the two versus three match up at 7:30. All four conference teams enter ranked in the top ten in the country, including Duke, who is number one. The championship game will be Sunday afternoon at 3:30.
As for the women, the tournament will be at Scott Stadium, and begins Thursday. Third seeded Duke takes on sixth seeded Virginia Tech at 1:00, followed by fourth seeded North Carolina and fifth seeded Boston College at 3:30. The winner of the Blue Devils and Hokies will meet Virginia on Friday at 3:00, as the Cavaliers hold the number two seed. North Carolina or Boston College will advance to face the top seeded Maryland Terrapins on Friday at 5:30. The finals will be Sunday at 1:00.
