The ACC men's lacrosse tournament will be held at Klockner Stadium this weekend. All four conference teams enter ranked in the top ten in the nation, as the tournament faces off on Friday.
Virginia enters as the third seed, after finishing the regular season conference schedule with a 1-2 record. The Cavaliers topped North Carolina, and will get a chance to avenge one of their two losses in Friday's semifinals. The Cavs face Maryland, who beat them 13-7 at Byrd Stadium. Rhamel Bratton and Peter Lamade each scored two goals in that game.
The Wahoos and Terrapins will meet for round two in the second semifinal game on Friday, which will face off at approximately 7:30. Virginia enters ranked third in the nation with an 11-2 overall record, while Maryland is ranked fifth, holding an 8-4 mark. The Terps finished 2-1 in the ACC, falling to only Duke.
The Blue Devils, meanwhile, will face off against fourth seeded North Carolina in the first semifinal on Friday at 5:00. Duke enters as the number one team in the country, with the Tar Heels at number ten. The winners of the two semifinal games will meet in the ACC championship on Sunday at 3:30.
