Branden Albert was introduced to the Kansas City media today, two days after being drafted by the Chiefs. Albert, along with Kansas City's first pick, Glenn Dorsey, proudly displayed a Chiefs' jersey, and answered questions.
After Dorsey was taken with the fifth overall pick, the Chiefs traded with the Lions for the 15th pick, and selected Albert. Kansas City is looking for serious offensive line help, after going 4-12 in 2007. They hope improve blocking for running back Larry Johnson, and get better in pass protection, as well.
Albert was widely regarded as the top interior offensive lineman in the 2008 draft. He chose to leave Virginia after his junior year.
