The Cavalier men's tennis team earned the number one overall seed for the NCAA Tennis Tournament, earning the right to host first and second round action. Last season, Virginia was the first ACC team ever to advance to the national semifinal, and will look to be the first conference team to win an NCAA title.

The Cavs are currently 28-0, and fresh off an ACC tournament victory. It marked the fourth conference title in the last five seasons for Brian Boland's squad, as Virginia also won its fifth straight ACC regular season championship.

Virginia will begin play on Saturday, May 10, as it hosts first and second round action. The Wahoos open up on May 10 at 10:00am against Farleigh Dickinson, and with a win, will face the winner of Penn State and Virginia Commonwealth. The round of 16 through the national championship will be played in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

As for the Virginia women, they fell short of the NCAA Tournament. The Cavaliers finished the season at 10-13, and entered the selection show on the bubble.
