The Cavalier women's lacrosse team has earned the fourth seed for the upcoming NCAA Tournament, and will host first round action on Sunday. Virginia will host North Carolina on Sunday at 1:00pm at Klockner Stadium.

The Cavs faced the Tar Heels during the regular season at home, topping them, 16-5, and will look for a repeat in the tournament. Virginia is 14-3 on the year, and coming off its third straight ACC title. North Carolina earned an at large bid.

With a win on Sunday, Virginia would host a second round game against either Towson or fifth seeded Syracuse. The Cavaliers downed the Orange in the regular season, 13-8.
