The Virginia men's tennis team earned the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead, and never looked back, as the Cavaliers topped Michigan, 4-0, in the NCAA Tournament round of 16. Virginia tops Michigan for the second time this season, after beating them, 5-2, in Ann Arbor during the indoor season.

After the doubles point was won, the Cavs got singles victories from Dom Inglot, Michael Shabaz, and Treat Huey to grab the 4-0 win. Virginia has outscored opponents 12-0 during the course of the NCAA Tournament.

The Cavaliers move on to the Elite Eight, where they will face Baylor. The Bears topped Tennessee, 4-1, earlier today. Virginia beat Baylor back in March by a 7-0 score.
