The Cavalier rowing team makes its way out to Gold River, California, this weekend, for the NCAA Championships. Virginia has been performing all season, as it won its ninth consecutive ACC title, and took home the South/Central regional title as well.
Last season, the Cavaliers finished runner up in the 2007 championships. Virginia put three boats in the finals of the competition, but could not pull out a team victory. The Varsity Four boat was the lone winner in last year's championship.
Virginia will begin competition on Friday in California as one of 12 teams with title hopes this season.
