The National Basketball Players Association Top 100 Camp tipped off on Tuesday at John Paul Jones Arena, welcoming some of the most talented high school basketball players from all across the country. The campers began a five day stretch which will feature on and off the court training.
The camp orientation was the main event on Tuesday. The players invited to the camp had a chance to meet each other, as well as the former and current NBA players and counselors who will be assisting and advising them throughout the week.
Wizards guard Antonio Daniels is one of the NBA players who is helping out in Charlottesville this week. He says that this camp is more than just basketball, as it teaches professionalism and how to deal with off the court issues as well.
Games, drills, and classes begin on Wednesday, as the camp runs from 9:00am-9:00pm for the next four days.
