Rashad Talley went 3-for-5 at the plate with two RBI, as American Legion Post 74 in Albemarle topped Post 2003 Fluvanna, 12-7, in American Legion baseball action on Tuesday night. With the win, Post 74 improves to 4-2, while 2003 falls to 0-2.

Albemarle jumped out to a 5-1 lead by the sixth inning, but a three run frame by Fluvanna cut the lead to 5-4. Wade Hughes was able to stop the bleeding with a strikeout to stop the 2003 rally. Post 74 went on to add seven more runs to secure the five run victory.

In addition to Talley, Andrew Bradley had a solid night at the plate, as well. Bradley went 3-for-4 with three runs.

Post 74 returns to action on Thursday, as Albemarle welcomes Post 55 Courtland. Fluvanna 2003, meanwhile, will travel to battle Post 156 out of Orange.
