The country's best high school basketball players took the court today to compete at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. The event features 110 of the top prep stars in the nation, and runs through Saturday.
Today featured the first day of games. The players are divided into teams, and compete in games during two separate sessions each day. The first stage of games tips off at 11:00am, with the second taking place at 7:30pm. Standings are being kept, and a championship game will be held on Saturday during the final day of the camp. In between games, campers take part in a number of classes, which cover a variety of off the court topics, and how to deal with life as a major college athlete and in the NBA.
CBS19 caught up with former Boston College star and current Charlotte Bobcat Jared Dudley, who is assisting at the camp. He says that he enjoys giving back by working at the camp, and helping these players prepare for the next step. Dudley also says that it's amazing to see all that talent packed into one gym.
