Shot putter Adam Nelson is preparing for the 2008 Olympics, which he will depart for in three weeks. After capturing the silver medal in both the 2000 and 2004 games, Nelson will aim to win his first gold in Beijing.
Nelson's chances are more than good. Currently, his throw of 22.12 meters is number one in the world rankings, though he finished third in the U.S. Olympic Trials on June 28.
