Former Cavalier Somdev Devvarman won his third consecutive event today. Devvarman conquered the Kennedy Funding Invitational, which raises money for breast cancer research.

Devvarman topped Dudi Sela, who entered the tournament ranked 76th in the world, in Monday's finals. The former Cavalier cruised to a 6-2, 6-4 finals win, improving to a perfect 14-0 singles record since turning pro last month. He has now climbed to a career high world ranking of 565.

Devvarman will continue his professional tour throughout the coming months. He is continuing the dominance that Cavalier fans were able to experience, as he won his second consecutive national championship in 2008. Somdev went through the season with a 44-1 record, and was ITA National Player of the Year.

Stay tuned to CBS19 and, as we will keep you posted on Devvarman's progress as a professional.
