Albert May Miss Rest of Training Camp

August 2, 2008

Former Cavalier and Kansas City Chiefs tackle Branden Albert could miss the rest of training camp with what the team is calling a sprained foot.

Chiefs Head Coach Herm Edwards says Albert is being evaluated day-to-day, but he will likely miss the team's first pre-season game against the Chicago Bears. Albert suffered the injury during Thursday night's joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings.

Albert was taken by the Chiefs with the 17th overall pick in this year's NFL draft. He is projected to be the Chiefs starter at left tackle this season.
