The Cavalier football team is nearing the end of preseason camp, and dipped into USC game preparation for the first time on Wednesday. Virginia will work on preparing for the Trojans for a good ten days, and hope to be ready when USC visits Scott Stadium on August 30.
According to Al Groh, the squad finished up phase two of training camp on Tuesday night, which includes installation, technique, and schemes. Virginia took the field for training camp beginning August 4, and have been building and growing as a team since that date. With the two phase camp completed, Groh and his coaching staff now begin preparing the Cavaliers for the Trojans.
Groh went on to say that all three quarterbacks continue to progress, and that there is no point in naming a starter with ten days to go until the game. He also says that the team has progressed very well, but there is still work to be done.
Virginia and USC will kickoff on August 30 at 3:30pm at Scott Stadium.
