Virginia Tops Old Dominion

The Virginia men's soccer team shut out Old Dominion 3-0 tonight in its final tune-up before the start of the regular season.

Freshman Brian Ownby scored 2 goals for the Cavaliers and also added an assist. Junior Ross LaBauex accounted for UVa's other goal, a header in the 18th minute.

Dan Louisignau got the shut out for the Cavaliers and had 2 saves on the night. Virginia opens up the regular season Friday at Klockner Stadium against St. John's in the Virginia Soccer Classic.
