The Virginia basketball team got off to a good start in exhibition play today, winning both games in Canada.
In the first game, UVa dominated St. Lawrence 107-60. Sylvan Landesberg led the way for the Cavaliers with a double-double, dropping 18 points and grabbing 13 boards. Calvin Baker also added 18 points in the winning effort.
In the second game, Concordia University kept things a little closer, but the Cavaliers were able to come away with an 85-70 victory. Once again, Landesberg led the way for the Cavs with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Mike Scott also had a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 boards.
Virginia takes on McGill University in an exhibition game Sunday.
