Clark Out for the Season

September 1, 2008

In the wake of one of the worst home losses in program history, the Virginia football team lost one of its linebackers for the season today.

Senior LB Aaron Clark will undergo surgery for a sprained right knee and will miss the remainder of the 2008 season. Clark had a career high five tackles against USC on Saturday in his first career start.

Junior Denzel Burrell will likely take over at the OLB position. The Cavaliers host Richmond on Saturday at 3:45.
