Sophomore Cavalier quarterback Peter Lalich has been charged with violating probation, according to court documents filed today in Charlottesville General District Court. Lalich will appear before the judge on September 26, where he could be convicted, according to published reports.

On July 13, Lalich was charged with unlawful purchase and possession of alcohol, and placed in a pre-conviction probation program. Had he met the terms of that probation, the charges would have been dropped in July of next year.

We will keep you updated on this situation as it develops.
