Head coach Al Groh sat down with CBS19's Marc Davis on Monday for his weekly interview, and talked about a number of different topics.

Virginia is coming off a bye week, and Coach Groh is pleased with his team's energy and focus. Groh says his team got a lot accomplished, though the true measure of accomplishment will not be seen until a game situation.

The head coach also talked about the quarterback position, and confirmed that Marc Verica will start for the Cavaliers on Saturday. Groh says that his accuracy is the main reason for this decision.

The Cavs travel to Durham to face Duke on Saturday at noon, and Coach Groh says that the Blue Devils are a much improved team. He cites quarterback Thaddeus Lewis and wide receiver Eron Riley as two players that are very experienced and solid.
