Tony Tchani scored two goals and added an assist, as the Cavalier men's soccer team blanked Central Connecticut State, 4-0, Tuesday night at Klockner Stadium. The win pushes the Cavs over the .500 mark at 4-3-0.
Tchani scored his first goal just over five minutes into the game. He added his second on a penalty kick to give Virginia the 2-0 lead. Ross LaBauex scored his first goal of the season later in the first half to help the Wahoos head into the locker room with a 3-0 halftime lead. Brian Ownby added his second goal of the year in the second half to complete the Cavaliers' scoring. Michael Giallombardo made a save and posted a shutout in net.
