For the first time since September 6, the Cavalier football team will play a game at Scott Stadium. Virginia will kick off with Maryland at 7:00 on Saturday night in the first of three straight home games.

This match up has featured some close match ups in recent years, in particularly the past two match ups. In 2006, Virginia held a 20-0 lead at halftime, only to see the lead disappear, as the Terrapins won, 28-26. Last year, Virginia used a fourth quarter drive and scored with 16 second remaining, winning 18-17. Mikell Simpson netted 271 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns.

Maryland enters with a 4-1 record, and is coming off a 20-17 win at Clemson. The Terrapins also topped California back on September 13 when the Bears were ranked 23rd in the country.
