Jimmy Simpson scored two goals and Tony Tchani added his team leading ninth goal of the season, as the Cavalier men's soccer team rolled past Liberty, 3-0, on Tuesday night. The win marks Virginia's fifth straight, and improves its record to 7-3-0.

All three of Virginia's goals came in the first half. Simpson scored the first two goals, while Tchani's insurance shot came later. The Cavaliers now improve to 17-0-0 all time against Liberty. The Flames, meanwhile, fell to 5-5-0. Virginia finished the night leading 14-3 in shots.

Simpson's goals were his third and fourth of the season, while Tchani's marked the ninth time he has found the back of the net. Virginia has now won four straight on its home field.

The Cavs return to action on Friday, as they welcome ACC rival Clemson to Klockner Stadium for a 7:00pm kickoff. Virginia is 3-0-0 in ACC play so far, and holds a national ranking of 18.
