Ras-I Dowling is showing that he is a force to be reckoned with on the football field. Quarterbacks that throw to the receiver that he's covering are usually disappointed, just ask the likes of Thaddeus Lewis and Chris Turner.

Dowling has had three interceptions in the last two games, which is more than any Cavalier had in the entire 2007 season. He has also accumulated 15 tackles on the year, one for loss, and has three pass break ups to his name as well.

The sophomore cornerback also plays a key role on special teams, proving himself to be a multi-dimensional defensive back. Click on the above video link to hear coach Al Groh's thoughts on Dowling.
