The Virginia football team will look took extend its winning streak to three, as it welcomes North Carolina to Scott Stadium on Saturday. The Cavaliers look to climb above .500 for the season overall and in the ACC.
North Carolina comes in not having won in Charlottesville since 1981. Virginia has won five of the last six meetings between these two teams, as well as eight of the last ten. The only blemish in the last six years for Virginia came in 2005, when North Carolina won in Chapel Hill, 7-5.
The Tar Heels enter with a 5-1 record and boast a number 18 national ranking. They are averaging 31.8 points per game while holding opponents to 19.8. Surprisingly, North Carolina averages around 320 yards per game, and is out-gained by opponents by about 40 yards per contest.
