After a successful three game homestand, the Cavalier football team hits the road for the first time in four weeks. Virginia travels to Georgia Tech and can earn at least a share of the Coastal Division lead with a victory.

The home team has won 12 of the last 13 meetings between the two teams, with Virginia winning four of the last five games in this series. Georgia Tech is 6-1 overall, 3-1 in the ACC, and has won their last three games.

This marks a match up of the top two ACC teams when it comes to sacks. The Yellow Jackets have 20 sacks on the season, while Virginia boasts 19. The Cavaliers also allow the fewest sacks in the conference as well. Last year, Virginia topped the Yellow Jackets in Charlottesville, 28-23.
