Published reports indicate that former Bowling Green head coach Gregg Brandon is one of the top candidates for the vacant offensive coordinator opening at Virginia.
Brandon was fired at the end of the season by Bowling Green after a 6-6 campaign, despite being signed through 2011. In six seasons as the Falcons' head coach, he compiled a 44-30 record and led them to three bowl appearances.
Mike Groh resigned as offensive coordinator on December 8, leaving the vacancy at the position.
As for Brandon, the Miami Herald also links him as a possible candidate for the open offensive coordinator job at Florida. Brandon coached under current Gators' head coach Urban Meyer before being named head coach at Bowling Green.
