The Cavalier men's basketball team has lost three in a row, and looks for a much needed victory on Saturday. Virginia now hits the practice court for three days prior to tipping off with Florida State.
This week On the Inside of Cavalier Hoops, Dave Koehn and Marc Davis talk about what Virginia has to do to improve. The Cavaliers have fallen into double-digit deficits in each of their last three games, which have all resulted in losses. The most recent loss came at College Park on Tuesday, as Maryland topped Virginia, 84-78. The Cavaliers trailed by as many as 17 in that contest.
Teams have also focused more on Sylven Landesberg as of the late. The freshman stand out has been held to two points and seven points respectively in the last two games. Landesberg entered the month as the ACC's leading scorer.
Next up for the Cavaliers is Florida State, who visits John Paul Jones Arena on Saturday for a 4:00 contest. The Seminoles enter with a 15-4 record, 2-2 in the ACC. Last season, FSU topped Virginia in Tallahassee.
On the Inside can be seen every Thursday on CBS19 News at 5:00. Click on the above video link to view this week's segment.
