Virginia football head coach Al Groh made another addition to his coaching staff on Friday, announcing that former graduate assistant coach Chad Wilt will be brought on staff as the defensive line coach.

Wilt previously worked with Groh during Virginia's 2004 and 2005 campaigns, and since then has spent the past four seasons at Liberty University, coaching the defensive line and special teams.

In 2003, while serving as an assistant at Central Connecticut State, Wilt was nominated for the AFLAC National Assistant Coach of the Year award. Two years later, he completed his masters degree in
educational leadership, foundations and policy from the University of Virginia.
