Virginia Looks To End Skid in Chapel Hill

The Cavaliers will try to snap a six-game losing streak tomorrow when they take on #3 North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Virginia is coming off an 80-70 loss to Boston College at home Wednesday night. Sylven Landesberg scored a career-high 32 points in that game; his 11th game this season with 20 or more points. The Cavaliers are now 7-11 on the year, 1-6 in the ACC.

North Carolina has won six straight ACC games after starting the conference season 0-2. The Tarheels are coming off a 108-91 win over Maryland Tuesday night, improving their record to 20-2 on the season, 6-2 in the ACC.

The Cavaliers and Tarheels have already played once this season, with UNC cruising to an 83-61 win over Virginia in Charlottesville back on January 15th. The Heels hold a 123-48 advantage in the all-time series and have dominated the Cavaliers at home. UNC is 62-5 against Virginia in Chapel Hill, 20-2 in the Dean E. Smith Center.

Tip-off for tomorrow's game is set for 4 pm. Following Saturday's game, the Cavaliers will continue their road trip at Florida State on Tuesday night.
