The Charlotte Bobcats have sent former Virginia guard Sean Singletary to the NBA Developmental League. Singletary will will join the Sioux City Skyforce when the team takes the court Friday in Reno.
Singletary was traded to the Bobcats in December, where he saw his minutes decrease. He had not seen playing time since February 11, and was de-activated on February 17. Singletary was averaging 2.4 points per game in his rookie season. He saw his role decrease when Larry Brown tightened up the rotation.
The former Virginia star was traded to Charlotte along with Boris Diaw and Raja Bell from Phoenix. Rookie Alexis Ajinca will join Singletary on the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
