The Cavalier baseball team used early run support from Dan Grovatt, Jarrett Parker, and Phil Gosselin to build an early lead and maintain the advantage against the VMI Keydets on Wednesday afternoon.

In the first, Grovatt's double deep to the centerfield wall drove in Parker and Gosselin. Virginia also used a huge fourth inning, in which they brought ten batters to the plate to ultimately put the Keydets away 10-3.

Virginia was led by Grovatt who had 3 RBI on the day and was only a homerun short of the cycle.

The Cavs return to action on Saturday as they play host to the 14th ranked Florida State Seminoles.
