The Cavalier women's lacrosse team traveled to Harrisonburg on Tuesday night and came away with an 18-9 win over in-state foe James Madison. Ninth ranked Virginia bounces back from Saturday's loss to Princeton and improves to 7-3 on the year.

Virginia scored the first three goals of the game and never looked back. The Cavs got three goals apiece from Blair Weymouth, Ashley McCulloch, and Whitaker Hagerman to pace the victory. Those three players accounted for half of the team's scoring.

The Cavaliers have now won in their last five trips to Harrisonburg, as the two teams have met every year since 1977. The 19th ranked Dukes fall to 4-4 on the year.

Virginia will get back to work on Saturday with a big ACC contest at Klockner Stadium. The Cavaliers host Duke at 3:30pm. Click on the above video link to view highlights from Tuesday's contest with JMU.
